My yoga journey began in Toronto in 2010 as I explored as many different styles of yoga as I possibly could while working for lululemon. Ashtanga, Anusara, Bikram, Moksha, Iyengar, Kundalini, Baptise Power. You name it. I've probably tried it. Five years into my journey I completed my 200-Hour YTT at Anjeli Yoga Teacher Training in Mississauga, Ontario - a donation based, affordable teacher training program taught by the loveliest human beings I know. In 2016 I completed a 40-Hour JOGA Certification in Downtown Toronto. JOGA is the discipline of yoga combined with the science and biomechanics of sport.
Together, these trainings have taught me to guide students safely and simply in an environment where all levels are welcomed. In all of my classes you will experience the power of yoga, cool music, aromatherapy and touch - foot and neck massages are common place here. I believe a yoga class is more than just a physical workout. It's an experience that opens up a pathway to living a more mindful life. And has awesome physical benefits too!
Outside of yoga I am entrepreneur at heart. My father has been a business man since the day he came to this country. In my spare time I run a home-based health and wellness business with an incredible company called Arbonne and I teach and train others how to do the same. My purpose through all of my work is to help bring joy into people's lives. Whether it's through yoga or nutrition or learning how to find safe skincare for you and you're family, I can help.
Justin has been a student of Yoga for over decade after discovering the practice during his first undergraduate year at the University of Toronto in 2003. It wasn’t until his own personal experience with cancer in 2007, however, did his relationship to the practice transform into a profoundly passionate commitment.
This experience led Justin to India where he began studying the practice over the course of a two year period; allowing him to really explore and deepen his bond to this ancient tradition. Seeing and experiencing the transformative healing qualities of the practice first hand, Justin now dedicates his life to helping others slow down and rest, to expand and reflect, and discover the potential miraculous daily health benefits of practicing yoga and meditation.
Justin teaches a variety of daily classes in Toronto. He also facilitates workshops, international retreats, restorative teacher training programs and hot stone yoga therapy. He currently studies with Annie Carpenter and Judith Hanson Lasater. He also studies with and assists the beloved Seane Corn.
